QR table ordering for restaurants in Pakistan

Dinner, ordered from the table.

Scroll to live one Friday dinner at a busy restaurant, from the street to the bill, the way your guests will with RakenMenu.

Scroll to walk in

1 · Walk in

Every table is full. The waiter is three tables away.

Friday, 8:40 pm. A party of twelve has the only waiter. You'd usually wave, wait for a menu, wave again to order, and wait again for the bill.

2 · Sit down

On the table: a card with a QR code and a PIN.

Every table has its own card, printed once. The link never changes, even if the restaurant's PC or internet line does. The PIN proves you're really at table 7.

3 · Scan and order

Point the camera. Your menu opens.

  1. The restaurant's own menu opens in the browser: its logo, colours and photos. No app, no sign-up.
  2. Tap to add. Two Chicken Karahi, four Garlic Naan, one Mint Margarita.
  3. Type a note, or hold to record a voice note: “less spicy, please”.
  4. Enter the PIN from the card, pick dine in or parcel.
  5. Order sent. Reception's screen rings that very moment.

4 · In the kitchen

“Table 7, new order.”

  1. Reception's screen rings and says it out loud. One tap accepts it, with a ready time.
  2. The karahi station's printer prints its own ticket, in English and Urdu.
  3. The kitchen screen moves it to cooking.
  4. Ready. The waiter's phone shows it, with the table number.

5 · While you wait

Eighteen minutes. Time for a game.

The countdown shows exactly where the food is. Your friends join a Ludo game on their own phones, and the house rule says capture before you go home.

6 · The food arrives

Steam, karahi, warm naan. Delivered.

The waiter brings it straight to table 7, because the screen told them where. Your order shows delivered, and nobody had to wave.

7 · Pay and rate

The bill comes when you ask for it.

  1. Tap request bill. Reception sees table 7 wants to pay, and how.
  2. Cash, card or online: the guest picks, reception marks it paid.
  3. A quick rating, and a nudge to leave a Google review.

8 · Meanwhile, in the office

The owner saw all of it, live.

Every order, call and bill lands on the admin screen as it happens: sales today, top dishes, tables in use and guest ratings.

Everything the owner runs, on one screen.

Set it up in an afternoon. Change anything later yourself.

  • Menu import from a photo

Photograph your printed menu. The AI reads dishes and prices; you check them and publish.

  • Theme from your logo

Upload the logo; the menu's colours are picked for you.

  • Printable table cards

QR, table number, PIN and guest Wi-Fi on every card. Print, cut, done.

  • Stations and printers

Each kitchen station sees and prints only its own dishes, in English or Urdu.

  • Prank protection

Orders that don't come from inside the restaurant are checked against your location and flagged.

  • Reports, ratings, team

Sales by day, dish and table. Roles for reception, kitchen and waiters, and an audit log.

Keeps taking orders when the internet drops.

RakenMenu runs on a PC inside your restaurant, not on a far-away server. Guests on your Wi-Fi keep ordering, and the kitchen never notices the outage.

Guests on Wi-Fi and on mobile data can order.

  • On your own PC

Orders, menu and sales stay in your restaurant. Installed with one setup file.

  • Wi-Fi keeps working

When the internet drops, guests on your Wi-Fi, reception, kitchen and printers carry on.

  • QR codes you print once

Every table's link is permanent. Change the PC or the internet line and the cards still work.

  • Secure link, no router setup

Guests on mobile data reach you through Cloudflare. Staff screens only open inside the restaurant.

  • Standby PC and backups

A second PC can keep a copy of the data, ready to take over, with daily backups.

The menu speaks your guest's language.

Guests switch language on the menu. Urdu and Arabic read right to left, and kitchen tickets can print in Urdu.

Questions owners ask.

Do guests need to install an app?

No. They scan the QR on the table with the phone camera and the menu opens in the browser. Nothing to download, no account.

What do I need in the restaurant?

A Windows PC that stays on, your Wi-Fi, and screens or phones for reception, kitchen and waiters. Thermal printers are optional. We install everything and print your table cards.

What happens when the internet goes down?

Guests on your Wi-Fi keep ordering, and reception, kitchen and printers keep working, because everything runs on your own PC. Guests on mobile data can order again once the internet is back.

Can someone place a fake order from home?

Every order needs the PIN printed on that table. With prank protection on, orders that don't come from inside the restaurant are checked against your location and flagged for reception.

Will I have to reprint the QR codes later?

No. Each table's link is permanent. If the PC, its address or your internet line changes, the printed cards keep working.

Can I change the menu myself?

Yes. Edit dishes, prices and photos, or mark something sold out, and guests' menus update straight away. To start, photograph your printed menu and the AI imports it for you to check.

We have several branches. Does that work?

Yes. Each branch runs its own PC with its own links and admin, so one branch's internet or rush never slows another.

See it on a real table.

We'll show you the whole flow on a phone: scan, order, the kitchen screen and the printed ticket. Bring a photo of your menu and we'll import it while you watch.
